USPTO IDS PDF Fixer
Fixes USPTO-rejected IDS reference PDFs -- wrong size, old/new PDF version, unembedded fonts, or a password-locked file (empty password only) -- with a "nuclear" fallback (rasterize + rotate, guaranteed but loses text search). Upload one or more PDFs and/or a .zip of PDFs; each file gets its own fix mode.
Configure each file
Leave mode on auto for the recommended behavior (tries decrypt → version → font → size, in sequence). Edit the output filename if you want a different one from the suggested USPTO-safe name.
About fonts: the font step first checks whether every font is already embedded. If it is, the file is left exactly as it was. If not, the tool adds a matching free font itself (the same fonts Chrome uses for Helvetica, Times and Courier; Liberation for Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New; Carlito for Calibri; Caladea for Cambria) and changes nothing else in the file. A font the tool has no match for is left as it was.
About page size: Letter and A4 pages are left alone. A portrait page of any other size is resized to Letter by scaling its contents to fit and centring them, so the text stays searchable and links, comments and form fields move with it. An XFA form is never resized. Every resized page (with its old and new size), every page still at a wrong size, and every font that could not be embedded is listed at the top of the results, marked NOT FIXED where something could not be fixed.

The non-default options below are shown so you know they're planned, but aren't implemented yet -- selecting one returns a clear message instead of silently falling back to something else.
